a 25-year-old professional mountain biker from Zurich, Switzerland, whose career is defined by passion and dedication.
The Journey
Born in 2000, Lucus Huppert discovered a love for two wheels early on in the local Zurich bike club. Starting with Cross Country and 4-Cross racing at the age of eight, a desire to jump and perform tricks quickly led him to the thrilling disciplines of Dirtjump and Slopestyle and he's been hooked ever since.
Balancing Act & Breakthrough
In 2016, Lucus Huppert began an electrician apprenticeship, balancing a rigorous 40-hour workweek with school. This dedication paid off, and by 2017, he made the leap to international competition. His results quickly improved, allowing him to begin traveling the world to pursue his dream.
"I am incredibly grateful for the support I received during that time, especially from my boss, who encouraged me to chase my dream while staying consistent in my work."
